Just be sure to be consistent in your training otherwise they can be stubborn and it is much more difficult to train a stubborn dog. Many of them are trained for dog shows to show tricks.
Due to their Intelligent and Obedience behavior, they were used as k9 dogs by the Quartermaster Corps. Nowadays Dobermans are used as Police dogs, Military dogs, and Protection or guard dogs in large numbers.

Doberman Pinschers are regarded as good guard dogs because of their protective behavior. Initially, this dog breed was only bred for the reason to guard and protect its owner. Due to their alert and protective behavior Dobermans are used as Guard dogs in large numbers. They are very loyal in nature and will defend their owner until their last breath. These dogs are very Alert of strangers and are very protective of their family and owner. A Doberman will never step back to protect his family in any situation. One of the examples of their loyalty is from Odisha- India, a pet Doberman fought with four cobras to save his family members, the dog killed all the four cobras but Unfortunately, the dog dies. This is just one example of their protective and Loyal behavior.

Friendly and Affectionate

If trained properly and socialized from an early age Dobermans can be really friendly and affectionate. Many of them are known to be aggressive but this behavior of them is the result of poor socialization and improper training. They can be kept at home as a family dog. Many people misunderstood them as the dominant dog breed and believe that they attack kids but if they are raised with them they can befriend them and can live with them. Many Dobermans are living even with other pets too.

Energetic and Agile

This medium to large-sized dog breed is regarded as an agile and active dog breed. They are not indoor dogs who love to rest and relax most of the day. They are outgoing dogs who love to play and exercise. Doberman can run at a speed of 32 mph, which is very fast. They need to exercise regularly to avoid destructive and aggressive behavior in them. Sometimes if Dobermans are not exercised regularly they become aggressive and stubborn. You have to take him out for long walks at least twice a day. The energy level in the Doberman Pinscher is very high. They should be exercised for 30 min a day for better health. Dobermans are known to be aggressive and also considered one of the dangerous dog breeds, but if they are treated well, exercised regularly, trained, and socialized properly then they can be really friendly and affectionate. Doberman has a muscular and tough body and a great bite force and with aggressive behavior no doubt they can become really dangerous. So aggressive and destructive behavior in Dobermans should be avoided. Avoid caging and chaining them these things also encourage aggressive behavior in dogs. No, Dobermans should not be left alone because Dobermans are prone to separation anxiety which is very bad for their health and mind. In separation anxiety when a dog is left alone at home he adopts destructive behavior and starts destroying goods, starts crying, urinates, barks, and often do many weird things. so keeping them alone at home is not a good idea because it may be possible that when you come back home after hours you will find everything gets destroyed and messed up by your dog.
